MEET THE PLAYERS

MATTHEW KRIVITSKY

Matthew Krivitsky, 35, started playing pickleball this year after growing up playing Tennis, Paddleball and Paddletennis (aka POP Tennis). He graduated from SUNY Binghamton with a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy, Politics & Law & then obtained his JD from Hofstra Law School.

Matthew’s passion for the sport came from his father, Scott Krivitsky who put a raquet in Matthew’s hand at a very young age. Matthew grew up watching his father play raquetball, paddleball & paddletennis and his love for these sports quickly grew. Before long he was playing in tournaments and beating players over twice his age.

Matthew is very family oriented with both his parents being in remission from Cancer. His father and coach, Scott is a Snowbird who spends over half the year in Florida and returns to New York in the Summer. His Mother, Gayle owns a home in Suffolk County Long Island, New York and his Sister, Lindsay currently lives in Brooklyn, New York with her fiance and is getting married May 2023.

When Matthew isn’t on the court, you’ll likely find him in the courtroom, at the beach or spending time with his two Labrador Retrievers, Shadow & Emily.
